I would like to announce that Reborn: The Battlemage Trilogy Book 1 officially has beta readers. I sent out posts on my social media accounts last week and have several sign ups. I have finished the editing of the manuscript and will be typing up the changes in the next one to two weeks. After that, the beta version will be going out to those readers who have volunteered to give their feedback. Once I have had a chance to review their feedback and suggestions, it will be ready to go to the editor and to publishing.
If you would like to beta read the novel, it’s not too late. You can apply here. Experience beta reading books is not required, but you do need to be a fan of fiction or fantasy. The turn around to get your feedback to me is rather quick, 2-4 weeks. So if you would like to read a beta version of the book and you have the time, I welcome your feedback.
Lack of New Content Recently
I am so excited to get Reborn published and to you all to read. A few weeks ago I had went out of state on a hunting trip and I have spent much of my time over the past few weeks with editing and preparing this book for publishing. In doing so, I have slacked off on posting new content. For that, I apologize.
It is my goal to have a bi-weekly blog with posts on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday will typically cover updates on the novel writing progress, some things about my life as a writer, and even some writing tips for those who are interested. Thursdays will be book blog reviews of some of the books that I have read and really enjoy, and occasionally, those that I have enjoyed much less. New Content is Coming
Like I said earlier, I have been spending much of my time editing recently. There is a light visible at the end of the tunnel. While the book is in the hands of beta readers, I plan to get started on some new content. I have a short story that I started that is more of a thriller. I would like to finish it and offer on the website as a free download. I also plan on writing a novella prequel to Reborn that will cover the early life of Riehner and how his people settled in Iradell, along with his actions in The Great War and how he met his wife.
I hope to also get Book 2 of The Battlemage Trilogy outlined and at least a few chapters written. I want to get Reborn published as soon as possible and, if you are like me, you hate waiting on the next book in a series. I don’t want more than one year between the publication of any of the books in the series.
